Cardamom Rose Aromaveda Sachet Collection
Cardamom Rose Aromaveda Sachet Collection

I’m all for holistic and luxury pampering so featured as my Weekly Snap is a gift I received from a bestie – the Cardamom Rose Aromaveda Sachet Collection from Spa Ceylon Ayurveda.

Overall Review

The collection includes three luxury fragrance sachets that uniquely combine natural volcanic minerals with pure essential oils to infuse your living spaces with rich natural aromas. I love their jasmine range so this was a change for me as I haven’t previously purchased anything of their products in the Cardamom Rose range. However, I was surprised when I found myself loving this fragrance as well. It doesn’t come across as strong and overwhelming as you’d think and I suppose that’s one reason why I like it. Each sachet ingredients are individually blended to ensure the natural well-being benefits of the essential oils are preserved well and truly. They are meant to soothe, calm and relax the mind, body and soul. I’m yet to start using them so let’s see if the sachets live up to what their supposed to do.

The sachet and gift box are adorned with royal insignia inspired by the Royal Kandyan courts of ancient Ceylon. This is something you’ll notice in many of the products by Spa Ceylon. If you want to know more about the brand and their products, check out their site.

How To Use

Remove cellophane covers and place sachets in suitable locations, preferably close to air vents, inside pillow cases, in wardrobes between clothes, suitcases or under drawer liners. To refresh the aroma add a few drops of the Spa Ceylon Essential Oil Blend to each sachet as required.

Bombshell loving

Don’t turn away by just reading the headline – it ain’t my fault Victoria’s Secret has an entire selection of gorgeously sexy products that go by Bombshell.

Speaking of Bombshell, my sister gifted me one of the gift sets and I’m going ga ga over it!

Victoria's Secret Bombshell

It looks like quite the hefty set but its got just four items so all in all its basically decent sized. It includes:

Bombshell Body Wash
Bombshell Body Lotion
Bombshell parfum
Victoria’s Secret glitter case that doubles as a makeup pouch in my case

Body lotion, body wash, parfum and pouch

Truth be told, I’m more of a Bath and Body Works fan but you certainly can’t go wrong with this either.  The packing is adorably pink and glittery ♡

Body Wash

The Bombshell Body Wash 100ml/3.4 oz (back description) – Sexy forever. Sensual wash bathes skin in a glamorous blend of purple passion fruit, shangri-la peony and vanilla orchid. For touchable skin and light Victoria’s Secret Bombshell scent.

I have to admit that it does give off a light scent and sensual feeling when in use. The fragrance is oh so fruity and floral at the same time. Thankfully nothing overpowers the other and it isn’t over or too strong to bear. The texture is just as light and lathers easily when applied onto the skin.

Body Lotion

The Bombshell Body Lotion 100ml/3.4 oz ( back description ) – Sexy forever. Sensual lotion dresses skin in a glamorous blend of purple passion fruit, shangri-la peony and vanilla orchid. For silky radiance and lasting Victoria’s Secret Bombshell scent.

Let me first say that I love the texture of this lotion. It’s almost creamy but also not too runny – just the way I like it. When they say it’s got a lasting scent, they mean it! It’s almost overpowering. Therein lies its fault. I truly wish it wasn’t so all over the place of a fragrance but because it is, I’m gonna be using it extremely carefully.

Bombshell Parfum

Gotta love this adorable little bottle. As much as I love the fragrance, I’ll be using the parfum just as sparingly as the lotion because too many sprays can be quite powerful and come off pretty strong.

Bombshell Pouch

Although it says party bag at the back of the box, I’d rather use it to store my makeup. I love the funky silver glittery colour and am oh so thrilled that none of the glitter transfers onto my hands. The size is perfect for taking it everywhere with me including trips abroad so you’ll definitely be seeing more of it soon 🙂
