The Spa Ceylon Royal Indulgence Spa and Store was unveiled a few days ago and I was able to attend the event under the media banner. Every invitee and media personnel were gifted with a limited edition gift pack so here’s a look at mine;
The gift pack included the Pink Lotus collection which was launched just under a month ago.
I’m not quite sure if I like the fragrance; lotus flowers are a bit hard to get used to and have an extremely strong scent to them. I did give the cleanser, soap bar and liquid silk shine mist a whiff but I kinda sat back with a slight headache. Maybe this isn’t for me but I am willing to give some of the products a go before I pass them into someone who may like it more than I do.
Sometimes I tend to do things without realizing. Like organising. Yes, I organise my things without me realising and I actually quite like it when it happens. I noticed the other day I had organised a few bits and bobs and thought I should share the tips with you all.
I had this little rectangular basket in one of the bathroom cupboards. I didn’t realise that I had stored all my little sample tit bits and travel sized lotions, hand creams and shower gels in it. So here’s a step by step guide as to how I re-organised them just for you all to see. Oh, I’ve got a mini candle in there too, a face exfoliating thing (I think I’ve used it only once or twice), an extra travel toothbrush, hand sanitizer, a soap bar and a tub of Vaseline. I find that they all fit inside quite well and was easily stored without looking too shabby.
Now, this I know I put together with a lot of thought because I do value all the products I’ve bought and also received by Spa Ceylon. Yes, I have quite a few things and yes, I do use nearly each and every one of them. On the far right I’ve placed all the hair care products in this floral jewellery holder. The middle includes all the foot care products like my favourite foot mist with peppermint! The left holds the two foot soak tubs and the centre front part holds travel sized shower gels, a body scrub and a compress which I am yet to use with one of the bath and body oils.
Now this is something I’ve made use of instead of just hoarding it somewhere in my closet. I got a gift set from Victoria’s Secret and the products came in this vibrant pink heart-shaped case. Once the products were used up, I didn’t quite know what to do with it so here’s how I’ve organised a few other essentials of mine. I’ve got an extra face scrub in there along with a scented candle (lavender my favourite!), my L’Oreal eyes and lips makeup remover, and my lavender bath salts. See how pretty they look, all organised together 🙂
I hope this somewhat gave you all an idea as to how every day items can be used to organise other bits and bops around your space.
I’ve been noticing some dark spots and blemishes on my face and I thought it was high-time I did something about it instead of letting them fade on their own. I can’t help but steer towards Spa Ceylon products because they do have a range of products for the face, made with white jasmine as well as white tuberose. I decided to go with the White Tuberose Facial Masque because I do not treat my face as often as I think I should and this would give me the excuse to do so when needed.
A creamy formula with 100% pure precious tuberose oil to gently lighten, brighten and illuminate skin. Fine natural clays combine with deep-acting white minerals to cleanse, purify and refresh skin, removing excess oil. Arnica, rice bran, and natural vitamins help control excessive oil, white licorice, green tea, watercress and bearberry help inhibit formation of dark cells. Virgin coconut oil and olive help lighten marks and discolourations, instantly increasing skin radiance. The mystical aroma of tuberose helps uplift and brighten the senses.
Now, as far as brightening and lightening my face, I’m not too concerned about that. All I want is my blemishes and dark spots to fade. I trust the brand so much so I gave it a try over two weeks ago. To use, one must cleanse the skin first and then apply a thick layer of the masque all over the face and neck. I didn’t give my neck much thought but applied more on my dark and blemished areas. Leave it on for ten minutes and then wet lightly. As you do so, gently massage the face in circular motions and finally wash off. I realized this actually took some time to do because the masque is quite thick itself. All in all, it took me a good five minutes to apply the masque on my face, ten minutes to leave it on, and close to another five to massage and wash off. I’m yet to see some results but I do love the aroma which does uplift and brighten the senses. I feel like I’m in a happy bubble every time I use it.
On the back of the jar it says to use the White Tuberose Face Treatment Oil after using the masque but I’m not a huge oil-on-the-face fan so I have not been following this instruction. I don’t know if that’s why I’ve not seen results in the two weeks that I have been using it but if over a month, I’ll probably let it go or pair it with the treatment oil.

To buy on-line visit their website 🙂 Id definitely vouch for nearly every product because I’ve used most of them and have come to love them over the years. Some of the products I use include the Red Sandalwood Body Scrub, Ceylon Tea and Ylang Body Scrub, Neroli Jasmine Cleanser and Conditioner, Happy Uplifting Balm, Green Mint Cooling Foot Relief, Green Mint refreshing Foot Mist, White Jasmine Face Treatment Oil and the Cardamom Rose Home Spa Set.
I’m not one to use too many products on my face. For the most part I scrub, wash and cleanse; that’s about it.
I’ve been using Clean & Clear products for the past five years or so and they’ve worked wonders on my skin. Unfortunately the stuff I was using were getting a little dated so I ordered two new products – the Clean & Clear Morning Burst Detoxifying Facial Cleanser and Night Relaxing Deep Cleaning Face Wash.
First up the Morning Burst Detoxifying Facial Cleanser. I simply love this product for multiple reasons. It’s got these micro beads and fragrance that truly wakes you up in the morning and makes you feel super fresh. The bottle says it’s also got an oxygen infused formula and deep cleans for visibly healthier skin. I must say my skin has improved very much since I started using this two weeks back. It totally cleanses my skin and removes impurities.
Directions for use – Simply wet face with water. Work on one squeeze of the cleanser into a gentle lather. The micro bursting beads then release skin healthy antioxidants. Next, gently massage the lather all over the face avoiding the eye area. I like to concentrate on my cheekbones and chin area because that’s my problem areas. After less than a minute its time to rinse thoroughly and pat dry.
At night my go to product is the Night Relaxing Deep Cleaning Face Wash. True to its name, this formula emulates a fragrance that totally relaxes you and helps you wind down for the night. It washes away daily build up with sea minerals and sea kelp extract leaving my skin clean and relaxed.
Directions for use – Simply wet face with water as usual. Although it doesn’t say, I like working one squeeze of the product into a light lather. It’s got airy bubbles that give off a light scent as you do this and then I gently massage it onto my face. Again I focus on my problem areas as well as my t zone to get rid of impurities while avoiding the eye area. This face wash does wonders getting rid of dirt and oil and after washing off thoroughly its time to pat dry.
I’m super glad with my purchases because they do exactly as described on the bottles. Occasionally I also use the Morning Burst Facial Scrub but these two are my too favourites now. They retail for somewhere between $4-5 at Walmart which I think is a fantastic buy for products as good as these.
